Working at the true core of our startup, you will be responsible
for the speed and quality of our engine that drives the news
through (social) networks. You will improve and expand our
proprietary technology for more intelligence, larger scale and
better distribution as a system. The engine behind nine
connections started as a crazy idea years ago and is now alive
and kicking.

- You have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with java in scale environments.
- You are probably a little too smart, confident, open, active, fixing, failing, impressing, flexible, contributing, hard-bargaining, creative, self-conscious, internationally oriented person.
- Hopefully you have an AI and/or mathematical background in any meaningful way.
- You are of course familiar with sql/no-sql, json, j2ee and all the other abbreviations that the rest of them don't know about.
- You want to do something that hasn't been done before.

Web / App Developer
Working between our users and our engine, you translate their
needs and wants for news and link them to the power of our news
engine through slick, clean but powerful interfaces on many
devices and several platforms. You will be creating new apps,
improve and expand existing apps and help integrate with other
networks and platforms, both web html5 apps and device specific
apps. Come and help create and build upon a framework for multi
device and multi platform services and help people make sense of
all the information that surrounds with less time and less

Visual / Web Designer
Working on nine connections you are working on many platforms,
many types of users and many devices. Nine connections is used in
different situations for different reasons by different people,
so when it comes brand, visual design and interaction design
there is always a big challenge translating each feature or each
benefit exactly how it is needed.
Nine connections is a product with a lot of depth but with easy access, bringing the need for several layers of interaction design while maintaining a clear and crisp visual design.
